How to read the results

Monthly premium shows the amount each carrier quoted for the coverage, length, and health level you chose, split into 12 equal payments. Rate tier identifies the underwriting category that quote assumes; the carrier will verify or adjust it post-underwriting. Medical exam indicates whether the carrier orders a paramedical evaluation; many expedited plans skip this for eligible people. A.M. Best rating reflects the carrier's financial security grade.
